And because we believe in giving back to the world that inspires us, we plant one tree for every $50 spent on our website — helping to restore, renew, and nurture what we take from nature.

Elyse & i was born out of designer Emily Cheetham’s belief that fashion should be more meaningful — pieces that tell stories, hold value, and stand apart from the noise. Each bag is created with purpose: thoughtfully designed, precisely constructed, and made to be treasured for years to come.

By embracing a slower pace, Elyse & i keeps traditional artisanal techniques alive, supports small makers, and honours the beauty of considered design. Our approach is rooted in responsibility — proving that style, quality, and conscience can coexist beautifully.

Avoiding Overproduction

At Elyse & i, we make small, considered batches of bags to avoid overruns and waste. Our designs transcend seasons and aren’t driven by fast-changing trends — we believe in buying better, not more.

Considered Packaging

Each bag arrives in a reusable dust bag, and we’re always seeking new ways to lower our footprint and increase circularity. While some single-use materials are still necessary, we work to minimise them and continuously improve our processes.

Upcycled Leathers

Instead of discarding leather offcuts, we repurpose them into new creations — from our cardholders to our whimsical bag charms. During festive seasons, Emily hand-monograms with gold leaf our leftover leather gift tags.
Each piece celebrates creativity through conscious reuse — proving that luxury and sustainability can coexist beautifully.

Tree Planting Initiative

For every SGD $50 spent in our online store, we plant one tree through our partnership with Sprout and GoodAPI.
After completing projects in Madagascar, Sprout has joined forces with Veritree to restore mangrove forests in Kenya — vital ecosystems that protect coastlines, support biodiversity, and sustain local communities.
