It's been well over a year since we last left the Little Red Dot (Singapore) for a long weekend to Indonesia pre-pandemic. So as a family we were really longing and looking forward to alleviating a bit of cabin fever (SG is the size of the Isle of Wight to give you some context - or about 339 times smaller than the UK!) with a short getaway to the sunshine state of Sentosa at the end of the Easter holidays. Even though it's only a little over ten miles from home, and we didn't need a passport, it actually felt like we'd been overseas except without any of the travel hassle! Lounging by the pool, kayaking in the sea, relaxing reading a book, eating and drinking but best of all, enjoying a fresh outlook and change of scene.
