I love Hong Kong for it's cosmopolitan craziness and vibrant culture. From the escalator rides taking you from central up to mid-levels, to the serenity of the Peak and back down again to the hustle of the markets. How you can be sky high sipping cocktails to nibbling a char siu pork bun on the Star Ferry. It's a city of contrasts where sleek meets old on every corner. And I didn't even get started on the food...
How thrilling it is then to see style blogger, Sarah Atiq, owning Hong Kong's downtown streets with a few of our very own Elyse & i bags. From rainbow walled backdrops to the bustle of the jade market, Sarah styles her city-looks with layering, block colours, safari-notes and pattern mix-up.
Take a look here for some of our favourite looks...
A metallic bag should be in every girl's accessory closet. The Elyse & i Starstruck Silver Pouch is the perfect accent to Sarah's layered look. A puff sleeve shirt under a sundress complimented with silver clutch & pumps. Streetstyle luxe - tick.
Square Street's Pasha Wais mural provides every girl's rainbow-filled-dream-wall back drop. Sarah mixes side-slash skirt, with graphic tee, on-trend white pumps and our cuteness-overload Betsy Bee bag in metallic pewter.
There is a lot of leopard-on-leopard styling happening right now so it is refreshing to see leopard in true-safari style. Sarah wears the Felix Camera bag in printed hair-on calfskin. Her khaki shirt dress is nipped in at the waist with a bejewelled belt, she has embellished slides, panama and statement earrings. Wild for this look.
I don't think I'll ever forget my surprise of how a Hong Kong taxi door springs open at you, as if by magic, from my first ever trip there. Delighted to see one here as the urban backdrop to the series of photos of Sarah in a crazy-print-overload outfit. I'm starry eyed for her floral maxi skirt, graphic tee, mirror glasses, embellished slides and of course our star-emblazoned Betsy Bag.
Love your sassy styling Sarah - as always! No wonder Harpers Bazaar recently said "...Atiq's experimental (yet conservative) layering, #shoefies and bold hues defy the convention of modesty in a tasteful manner. Seriously, her #ootd is game on point."
